Stoneham Food Pantry Gets Major Donation From Woburn Business
The First Church Food Pantry in Stoneham thanked its donor this week for $800 in donated food.
STONEHAM, MA — The food pantry at the First Congregational Church in Stoneham received a major donation this week via business supporters in neighboring Woburn, the food pantry announced on Wednesday.
Food pantry personnel thanked the employees of the Woburn branch of Granite City Electric Supply Co., Inc. for what amounted to $800 in donated food.
The pantry received the donation on Tuesday, sharing pictures of infant formula, green beans and more piled high inside the pantry.

“We are thankful for your support especially during this time of year,” the pantry wrote in a statement.
The food pantry is managed and staffed by a group of volunteers.

While headquartered at the First Congregational Church at 1 Church St., the food pantry is open by appointment on Thursday to any Stoneham residents experiencing food insecurity.
Organizers invite both monetary donations and donations of food.
