Woburn City Census Underway, Due Back Within 10 Days Of Receipt

Census forms must be returned in order to maintain active voter status.

WOBURN, MA — Woburn's city census has been sent out to 17,012 households, City Clerk William Campbell said Monday.

The annual census is due back within 10 days of receipt.

If voters do not return the census, they are designated inactive under state law. An inactive voter must show identification showing their address in order to vote on election day, and returning the census is the easiest way to remain active, the City Clerk's Office said in a FAQ released last year.
