Woburn Democrats Plan Get Out The Vote Event
The event will feature a variety of local elected Democrats ahead of the start of early voting in this year's general election.

WOBURN, MA — A who’s who of local democratic leaders will be in Woburn this week for a get out the vote event at the Woburn Country Club.
The Woburn Democratic City Committee announced the event earlier this month. As of Tuesday, at least seven officials had signed on to attend the event.

- Marian Ryan - Middlesex County District Attorney
- Cindy Friedman - State Senator (4th Middlesex District)
- Richard Haggerty - State Representative (30th Middlesex District)
- Michelle Ciccolo - State Representative (15th Middlesex District)
- Marilyn Pettito Devaney - Governor’s Council (District 3)
- Mara Dolan - Candidate for Governor’s Council (District 3)
- Katrina Gaddis - Aide to Congresswoman Katherine Clark
The event is set for Oct. 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. It will feature an array of festivities to mark the start of early voting, which will begin statewide on Oct. 22.
The event will aim to let Woburn residents meet Democratic candidates in what organizers recently described as a “relaxed social setting.”

Tickets are $15 per person and are available for sale online here. Some tickets may be available at door by cash or check made payable to the “Woburn Democratic City Committee.”
