Woburn Education Foundation Accepting Hall Of Fame Nominations
The Hall honors WMHS alumni, coaches and community members for their achievements in sports and industry and contributions to society.

WOBURN, MA — The Woburn Community Education Foundation (WCEF) has announced it is accepting nominations for the Woburn Hall of Fame's 2023 class.
Established 2019, the Woburn Hall of Fame honors Woburn Memorial High School alumni, coaches and community members for their achievements in sports and industry and contributions to society.
Nominations are being accepted through Dec. 14, and the next Woburn Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is scheduled for May 18, 2024.

Nominees must be grouped into one of two categories: Athletics or Distinguished Alumni.
According to organizers, the Athletics category celebrates the achievements of individual athletes, teams, coaches and others who have contributed to the success of Woburn sports.

Individual athletes are eligible for induction beginning 10 years after graduation, coaches are eligible three years after they finish coaching at WMHS and teams are eligible 10 years after the noted year of competition.
Meanwhile, the Distinguished Alumni category honors and celebrates those WMHS grads who have achieved success in industry or have made outstanding contributions to society.
Nomination forms for Athletics and Distinguished Alumni are available online. A list of previous inductees is available on the WCEF website.
Hall of Fame organizers remind the community that alumni who previously have been nominated, but have not been selected, will remain in consideration by the Selection Committee.
