Woburn Hotel to Undergo $15M 'Improvement Plan'

The 344-room hotel was sold to a Boston-based company for $32.1 million.

The Hilton in Woburn has been sold to a Boston-based real estate company, according to the Boston Business Journal.

The 344-room hotel netted $32.1 million in a sale to The Davis Cos. According to the report, the buyers will oversee a $15 million “property improvement plan” to keep the hotel at “Hilton brand standards.”

The hotel was first built as a Radisson by a Kentucky-based owner in 1989. It is located at 2 Forbes Road, right off Interstate-95.

Plans to implement the upgrades are slated to begin in 2016.
