Woburn Park And Ride Lot To Remain Closed Until August 31: MassDOT
The lot on Hill Street at Montvale Avenue closed last April due to construction. The nearest Park and Ride is at 30 Atlantic Ave.

WOBURN, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced Thursday that the Park and Ride lot on Hill Street at Montvale Avenue in Woburn will remain closed through August 31 due to construction.
The lot, which typically offers 24/7 access in 70 spaces for those who need parking for carpooling or vanpooling, closed on April 16, 2022, initially for 16 weeks. But MassDOT has continued to push back the reopening date since last summer.
"The extended closure (of the lot) is needed to facilitate underground electrical service and lighting power operations that are being conducted as part of a private state highway access permit project," MassDOT said in a Thursday statement.
