Woburn Program Offers Leaf Raking Help

Woburn seniors can sign up to have their yard raked. Organizers are also seeking volunteers to help provide raking services.

WOBURN, MA — Woburn seniors needing help with leaf raking may be able to get that help through the 2022 iteration of Social Capital Inc.’s annual leaf raking assistance program.

Those looking to lend a hand can also do so through the program, as organizers are currently seeking volunteers.

Social Capital Inc. is a nonprofit running various community activities in Woburn. It is assembling leaf raking plans for Nov. 11 and Nov. 19. Leaf raking will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days.

Social Capital Inc. shared a call for volunteers in October, inviting volunteers of all ages to help. Those interested can sign up using a form here.

Upcoming leaf raking is running in partnership with the Woburn Council on Aging and the Woburn Senior Center.
