Welcome to Meet the Librarian Monday, where each week we will feature one of our awesome WPL librarians! First off, meet Jack, our Tech Librarian.⠀ 

Who are you and what do you do? I’m Jack and I’m the Technology Librarian, which means if it needs power and has a problem, it’s my job to fix it.⠀ How long have you been working in libraries? I’ve been working in libraries for the last seven years, plus I did some volunteering in high school.⠀ What’s your favorite part of your job? My favorite parts of the job are helping people with their problems and teaching people how to use technology. I like making people’s lives easier. 😄⠀ What are you reading at the moment? I’m currently rereading The Murderbot Diaries, which is a short series about an android who would rather watch TV than be a security bot. ⠀ When not at work, what do you like to do? I’m probably supposed to say reading, but I’m a huge video game geek and right now I’ve been playing a ton of Minecraft with friends.
