How long have you been working in libraries? I’ve been working in libraries for about 6 years.

What’s your favorite part of your job? I’d say readers’ advisory. It’s fun to pick books out for people based on the clues they give me. It’s even better when you find a book that they love. The craft classes would also be at the top of my list. That’s just a lot of fun and I love to see what people come up with. Our Patrons are really talented!
What are you reading at the moment? I’m reading Honeycomb by Joanne M Harris, Tuesday Mooney Talks to Ghosts by Kate Racculia, and the graphic series Space Boy. I’m usually reading a couple of books at a time.
When not at work, what do you like to do? I love to go to thrift stores and look for vintage anything, at the moment I love the 60’s and 70’s. Best find 1940’s beaded platform heels! I’m also always making or fixing something. One of my winter projects is to finally start fixing my Raleigh Chopper banana bike from the 70’s.
Stay tuned to meet more of our new staff and familiar faces.
