How long have you been working in libraries? As a professional for 14 years, with volunteer experience in libraries and archives prior to that.
What’s your favorite part of your job? Helping the public to not only find what they seek but learn how to use our numerous resources. Unlike Google, a librarian can find you the right answer and teach you how to find it.
What are you reading at the moment? Carl Hiaasen’s Squeeze Me, a somewhat comedic murder story set in Florida about the misadventures of a former Florida Game Warden, the Secret Service, and a Honduran refugee. To say more would be spoilers.
When not at work, what do you like to do? Outside of work I often go for walks, browse farm stands along my walks, read, and play games such as Dungeons and Dragons or Battletech.
Stay tuned to meet more of our new staff and familiar faces.
