Who are you and what do you do? Hi, I’m Megan and I am the Assistant Director at the library. I help coordinate between staff in different departments and keep day to day operations running smoothly.
How long have you been working in libraries? I’ve been working in public libraries for 19 years.

What’s your favorite part of your job? I love seeing people’s faces light up when they talk about a book, movie or tv show they just finished and enjoyed, and I want to hear all about it. I think libraries have a lot to offer for everyone, and I love when I can help make that happen.
What are you reading at the moment? I’m currently reading Risen by Benedict Jacka. It’s book 12, the final book in the Alex Verus series, and I’m going to be in mourning when I’m done. I love adventure stories with strong characters, and I find a lot of that in urban fantasy.
When not at work, what do you like to do? When not at work, you’ll probably find me playing with my dogs, rock climbing, or playing volleyball.
Stay tuned to meet more of our new staff and familiar faces.
