Five things to know today.

Today is Friday, July 27. Here are five things to know:
1) Afternoon showers
Looks like we could get some more rain today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect rain with a chance of thunderstorms possible this afternoon. Otherwise cloudy with a high near 74 degrees. It will also be windy with gusts as high as 26 miles per hour.
2) Woburn Election paper deadline
Interested in serving the residents of Woburn? Those interested in running in the upcoming municipal election have until 5 p.m. today to obtain nomination papers. The papers are in the Woburn City Clerk's office in City Hall. The office of Mayor, Alderman At Large, Ward Alderman and School Committee Member will be on the ballot.
3) Library closed tomorrow
The Woburn Public Library is on its summer schedule, meaning it will be closed Saturdays until Sept. 2.
4) In love of the theater
