Five things to know today.

Today is Wednesday, July 24. Here are five things to know: 

1) Cloudy with a chance of showers 

There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 a.m. today followed by a chance of showers, the National Weather Service reports. Otherwise cloudy with a high near 84 degrees.

2) Woburn history 

The Woburn Historical Commission is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Engineers Conference Room. 

3) Worm farming

The Woburn Public Library is holding a class/discussion on Worm Farming with Peter Wild of the Boston Tree Preservation at 10 a.m. this morning. Find out why red wigglers are so cool! For all ages.
