Motorcyclist Hospitalized Following Crash In Wrentham
Police say a car rear-ended the motorcycle, ejecting the motorcyclist onto the street.
WRENTHAM, MA — A motorcyclist has been hospitalized after being rear-ended by a car on Thurston Street in Wrentham Wednesday, said Police Chief Bill McGrath in a Facebook post.
McGrath said the driver of the car did not see the motorcycle slowing down in front of him and rear-ended it, ejecting the motorcyclist onto the street.
The motorcyclist was injured but remained alert and conscious at the scene, said McGrath, He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital Trauma Center. The driver of the car was evaluated on scene.

"Please don’t jump to conclusions with blame and cause," said McGrath. "I post this to remind all of us that we need to remain focused on the road, avoid all distractions and be aware of our surrounding."
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Wrentham police.
