Obituary: Loretta A. (Poirier) Oglesby
Loretta Oglesby, 83, formerly of Norfolk, died May 7, 2013.

Loretta A. (Poirier) Oglesby, 83, of Franklin, formerly of Norfolk, died May 7, 2013 in the Milford Regional Medical Center.
She was the wife of Ray Oglesby who she had been married to for 62 years.
Born in Cambridge Feb. 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Dennis H. and Agnes (Kiley) Poirier. Mrs. Oglesby was raised in Cambridge and had lived in Medfield for many years before moving to Norfolk where she lived for 20 years prior to coming to Franklin five years ago.

Mrs. Oglesby worked in the cafeteria at Medfield High School for many years. She had also been the receptionist at the Glen Ellen Country Club.
Loretta enjoyed reading, playing bingo, trips to Foxwoods and was an avid Red Sox fan. She found her greatest joy in being with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Ray Oglesby of North Grafton, Cathy Mann and her husband Dennis of Medfield, Christy Gagliani of Franklin, Colette Oglesby of Medfield, Tommy Oglesby of Worcester, Carolyn Mucinskas and her husband Frank of Foxborough and Cindy Pritoni and her husband Tony of Norfolk; and her grandchildren Melissa, Jamie, Carissa, Bobby, Leah, Danny, Jimmy, Dylan, Frank, John and Thomas. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Bob Gagliani.
Funeral by Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin. Burial was private.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of Massachusetts 480 Pleasant Street Watertown, MA 02472.
