Prior to retirement, she worked in the Billing Department of the Rutgers University Medical School in New Jersey.
Viola was an excellent seamstress. She and her husband enjoyed the theater, golfing and traveling in the U.S. particularly up and down the eastern seaboard, although they did get to Hawaii, Alaska and Australia. She fell in love with the Cape beaches over 40+ years ago and happily retired there. She was a great “character” with a wry sense of humor who will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children Christine Dolan and husband Charles of Franklin and Stephen Kubik and wife Sharon of Hillsborough, N.J.; and her four grandchildren Alex and Kathleen Dolan, and Bryan and David Kubik. She was preceded in death by her sibling Austin Hauser and cousin Rosemary Haluska.
The funeral and burial will be a private event for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
