WRENTHAM, MA — The 50-year-old man who died in a head-on crash in Wrentham Tuesday evening has been identified as Scott Santangelo of Assonet, said Massachusetts State Police in a news release. The crash took place on Route 1 southbound at approximately 7:25 p.m. and involved a 2009 Toyota Tacoma, driven by Santangelo, and a 2017 Nissan Rogue.The driver of the Nissan was transported to Rhode Island Hospital via Medflight and their condition is currently unknown. The crash remains under investigation and no further information has been released.
