WRENTHAM, MA — The on-ramp from Route 1A to Interstate 495 north at exit 15 will be closed from 8 p.m., Thursday to 5 a.m., Friday, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced. MassDOT said the closure is necessary to perform milling and paving on the ramp. State Police will be on-site to facilitate the ramp closure and traffic impacts. The following detour will be in place: I-495 North Detour <ul><li>Take the exit onto I-495 south (Cape Cod) </li><li>Continue onto I-495 south</li><li>Drive to Exit 14 A. </li><li>Take exit 14A for Route 1 north (Wrentham) </li><li>Enter Route 1 north</li><li>Take the ramp to I-495 North (Marlboro) </li><li>Continue on I-495 north past exit 15 </li></ul>Drivers who are driving through the affected areas should expect delays. All scheduled work is weather dependent and could change in the event of an emergency.
