2 Shot Dead During Child Abduction From Southeast MI Home: Police
The kids were found safe and three people were arrested in connection with the incident, which police say was a targeted attack.
NORTHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Two people are dead and another was injured in a shooting and child abduction that happened Wednesday night in Washtenaw County, according to police.
The shooting happened at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home on Nollar Bend Road near US-23 and North Territorial Road in Northfield Township, according to police.
Inside the home, officers found a 74-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman shot dead and a 53-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police.

The surviving man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition, according to police.
Investigators also learned that two girls, ages 7 and 4, were taken from the home, according to police.
