Box Truck Slams Into First Responders On I-94 In MI: Video
The box truck driver was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for minor injuries, while no one else was injured in the crash, police said.

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI — A box truck driver was injured in a Thursday crash involving first responders on a slippery highway in west Michigan, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened on eastbound Interstate 94 near the 80.5 mile marker in Comstock Township at 8:30 a.m. when a box truck overturned and struck three fire vehicles and a police cruiser, according to the sheriff's office.
The box truck driver was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries, while no one else was injured in the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.

"We urge everyone to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary during severe winter weather," said the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office in a Facebook post. "If you must be on the road, please use extreme caution, reduce your speed, and allow extra time to reach your destination. Your safety—and the safety of first responders—depends on it."
