MI Gas Prices Rising Again: AAA

Average gas prices across Michigan were up 11 cents Monday morning from last week, according to AAA.

MICHIGAN — Gas prices across Michigan are rising again, according to AAA.

The average price for a gallon of gas across Michigan was $3.04 Monday morning, up 11 cents from last week, but still ten cents cheaper than last month, according to AAA.

Michigan drivers paid an average of $45 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline, according to AAA.

Gas prices are also up in the metro Detroit area, according to AAA.

The average price for a gallon of gas in the metro Detroit area was $3.02, up six cents from last week but still 12 cents cheaper than last month, according to AAA.

"Motorists across Michigan are seeing higher prices at the pump, as the state average jumps above $3 a gallon,"said AAA Spokesperson Adrienne Woodland said.

The most expensive places to get gas in Michigan were in Jackson ($3.13), Ann Arbor ($3.08) and Grand Rapids ($3.08), according to AAA.

The cheapest places to get gas in Michigan were in Traverse City ($2.92), Marquette ($2.98) and Benton Harbor ($3.02), according to AAA.
