2 From Berkley Killed, 2 Hurt In Livingston County Crash: Sheriff
Investigators believe the use of alcohol played a role in the crash.
HARTLAND TOWNSHIP, MI — Two people were killed and two others were critically injured in a Saturday crash in Livingston County, according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said a 2023 Kia Soul was moving east on Highland Road near Cullen Road in Hartland Township at 8:22 p.m. when it crossed over into oncoming traffic, crashing head-on with a 2023 Ford Bronco.
The driver of the Soul, a 65-year-old Berkley man, and his passenger, a 55-year-old Berkley woman, were killed in the crash, officials said.

The driver of the Bronco, a 50-year-old Howell woman, and her passenger, a 53-year-old Howell resident, were taken to a nearby hospital where they were treated for life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Officials believe all the occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Investigators believe the use of alcohol played a role in the crash.
