- The Friends of the Berkley Library will kick off this summer's reading program during an ice cream social featuring treats from Clark's Ice Cream & Yogurt at 6 p.m. Monday, June 17, at the Berkley Public Library.
- The Berkley City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, June 17, at City Hall to approve a $35,000 purchase of official Woodward Dream Cruise merchandise, amend a collective bargaining agreement with the Berkley Public Safety Officers Association and more. (See attached PDF for the complete agenda.)
- The Huntington Woods City Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at City Hall to authorize a $14,000 fireworks contract, the purchase of three public safety vehicles for $97,173 and more. (See attached PDF for the complete agenda.)
- Blues favorite Thornetta Davis will kick off this year’s Concerts in the Park in Huntington Woods at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Scotia Park.
- The city of Berkley will hold a grand reopening of Tot Lot Park from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, including games and a bounce house.
- The Aaron Vaughn Band will kick off the Robina Rhapsody summer concert series at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at the corner of 12 Mile Road and Robina in downtown Berkley.
- The Berkley Area Chamber of Commerce and the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce will co-host a networking event at 8 a.m. Friday, June 21, at Vinsetta Garage in Berkley.
- The sixth annual Berkley Community Garage Sale will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23. Call 248-658-3470 to register.
- The Seed and Sod Garden Club of Huntington Woods will hold a tour of nine gardens from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 23. Advance tickets are available for $8 at the Huntington Woods Library, Recreation Center and City Hall. Tickets also will be available for $10 beginning at 12:30 p.m. the day of the event outside the library. Enjoy a concert at 4 p.m. in Gordon L. Hassig Senior Park following the tour.
