People will soon be able to shop for cannabis products that pair well with their favorite vinyl album from Taylor Swift--who was responsible for 7% of all vinyl sales in 2023 according to Billboard--when Seven Point cannabis dispensary opens soon at 28557 Woodward Ave. in Berkley.

Serving both adult-use customers and medical patients, the store will double as a record store selling newly released vinyl albums and turntables, as well as leverage technology to deliver education on cannabis strain origins, effects and consumption forms.

“Cannabis and music go hand-in-hand, and with the revival of vinyl we will create a first-of-its-kind dispensary where people will be able to shop for records across genres to enhance their cannabis experience,” said Brad Zerman, CEO and co-founder of Seven Point. “We will spare no effort in designing this store to deliver the look and vibes of a record store. The walls will showcase vinyl and album art next to cannabis displays. We’ll play concert videos on TVs and music from albums sold in the store on a high-quality turntable viewable on the sales counter. Our budtenders will give recommendations on the best cannabis products that pair well with music genres. No other dispensary in the area—or in cannabis for that matter—offers an immersive experience like this and we think Seven Point will be the next greatest hit.”
