Detroit Marathon Results: See How Berkley, Huntington Woods Runners Fared
Nearly 200 runners from Berkley and Huntington Woods finished the Detroit Free Press / Talmer Bank Marathon on Sunday.
More than 24,000 runners were expected to participate Sunday in the 35th Detroit Free Press / Talmer Bank Marathon, including 170 from Berkley and Huntington Woods who competed in the marathon and half-marathon.

Russian marathoner Viacheslav Shabunin won the men’s race in 2 hours, 25 minutes, 26 seconds, and his countrywoman Liubov Denisova won the women’s race in 2:46:33, according to the Detroit Free Press. Each winner earned $3,000, the newspaper reports.
