Fuel Report: Gas Prices Drop in Berkley, Huntington Woods Area

Metro Detroit motorists are getting a break this week on gas prices, which have fallen eight cents since last week.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Metro Detroit was $3.45 on Monday morning, down from $3.53 a week ago and up from $3.15 one year ago.

Here are some of Monday's prices for a gallon of regular gas at a few nearby stations, according to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report:

• (3372 Coolidge Hwy., Berkley): $3.49
• (26001 Woodward Ave., Royal Oak): $3.50
• (3427 12 Mile Road, Berkley): $3.49
• Speedway (24771 Coolidge Hwy., Oak Park): $3.30
