News of the popular Coolidge Highway eatery's demise elicited 11 comments on the Berkley Patch Facebook page, including these:

  • Beverley Barra: I loved the house salad. The staff was very kind. I loved sitting on the patio when the sun was shining.
  • Sarah Jacob Dagenais: Sad ... really liked this place when it first opened but definitely saw a change in the past year ...
  • Larc Levy Bogdan: Liked that they offered gluten-free bread. My family could actually have sandwiches and French Toast! Oh, well.
  • Berkley Downtown Development Authority: will certainly be missed ...

Three comments also were posted on the story, including one from broker Jeffrey F. Crawford of Griffin Properties in Southfield, who told readers that anyone interested in the property can reach him at (248) 417-6487. An ad on craigslist.com lists the restaurant for sale at the price of $150,000.
