Preview: Berkley City Council Meeting

The Berkley City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at to discuss a number of financial and administrative issues.

Also on the agenda are the following items:

• Recognizing Berkley resident Dorothe Canty who, at nearly 90, recently retired as Michigan's oldest nurse.
• Establishing a fund designated for the creation and publication of a hard cover book about Berkley's history.
• Adopting a resolution that recommends the ownership transfer of a liquor license to the property at 27799 Woodward Ave.
• A council work session to dicuss a draft Multi-Modal Transportation
  Plan amendment to the master plan.

The meeting is open to the public and there will be opportunities for citizen comments.
