Sample 'All You Can Create' Art Buffet During Articipate 'Welcome Day'
Community members are invited to check out the new Berkley art studio Saturday, Aug. 10.
Articipate in Berkley will hold a "Welcome Day" from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10.
The event will include an "all you can create" buffet of fun, easy art projects; teachers will be on hand; and information about upcoming classes will be provided, owner Debby Kobayashi of Berkley said.
The new business at 3833 12 Mile Road will provide open studio time for artists, as well as classes and workshops.
"This is going to be Berkley's open center art studio," Kobayashi said. "I want the opportunity for artists to come in and teach art classes of a variety of mediums. I want it to be for adults and children. I just want people to know art is a great entertainment."
