How do you know the teacher?

She’s my daughter

What does this person teach?

Special education

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She has been teaching 17 years now in a variety of programs and age groups. She was Teacher of The Year a few years ago. She has gotten so many letters from students that she had in elementary who are now in high school who credit her for their success. She continues to improve her knowledge by participating in trainings. She has also worked in teams sharing her knowledge. I am sharing not because she is my daughter it’s because I have watched her give 100 percent of herself to her job even raising her own family!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She has a great sense of humor and she has a vision for her students who struggle every day!
