The Detroit Red Wings have scheduled a press conference for Thursday morning and the guest stars will be defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom and general manager Ken Holland.

So the big question on everyone's mind is, is team captain Lidstrom retiring?

Lidstrom, 42, who lives in Novi with his family during the hockey season, has been debating whether to retire after playing for 20 seasons in the NHL.
