Win, Place, Show Us Your Photos from "Off to the Races"

The Berkley Education Foundation's third annual fundraiser will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Silver Garden in Southfield and we're putting a call out to you, dear readers, to give us a first-hand look inside the event.

Once you recover from the evening – which will include dinner, a cash bar, a silent auction and simulated horse racing – take some time to shoot an e-mail to leslie.ellis@patch.com and tell us about your experience. Or, snap a photo and send it along! We want to see your fancy hats! Please include the name of the photographer and a description of what's happening in the photo (identify the subjects, if possible).

Organizer Sue Zbozen-McAlpine said prizes and auction items at the casual, adults-only affair will include tickets to see the Detroit Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings; a beautiful mirror from ; an electric guitar from ; a weekend getaway at the in Birmingham, which recently ; delicious cookies from ; and gifts from many other businesses in Berkley.
