Auditions for 'Seussical Jr.' Starts Jan. 11

Auditions for The Community House's production of Seussical Jr. are scheduled for Jan. 11-12.

The auditions are scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.

Auditions are first-come, first-serve. Check-in is mandatory at 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Late-comers are not guaranteed a chance to adution. Since the entire audition process is approximately two to three hours in length, parents will also need to wait.

Required is a one-minute monologue (does not need to be memorized) and 16 bars of a favorite song with sheet music. Be prepared to learn a short dance routine as well and list all scheduled conflicts.

The first rehearsal begins at 10 a.m. Jan. 19. All Saturday and Wednesday rehearsals are mandatory, as well as the week of Feb. 23-March 1. Performance dates are March 2 and March 3.

Seussical Jr. is directed by Joey Albright with music direction by Debbie Tedrick. The performance is part of Sara Smith Productions Youth Theatre.
