Take a Look at the Birmingham Runners Who Finished the Detroit Free Press Marathon

This year, 1,929 runners participated in the 5K; 12,637 participated in the half marathon; 3,749 participated in the full marathon.

Taking place every October since 1978, the race takes marathon runners through the streets of Detroit and over the Ambassador Bridge to Windsor, Ontario and back through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. The flat course also includes Belle Isle and four of Detroit's historical neighborhoods.
