For the 24th year, the Birmingham-based law firm Goodwin & Scieszka is sponsoring a free legal aid clinic called Law Day. Attorneys will donate their time to give free legal advice on all areas of the law. In addition to pro bono counseling, visitors get free hot dogs, prizes and free bike helmets for all children.
While adults get free legal aid, kids will enjoy bouncing in giant inflatables and eating free hot dogs and ice cream. Local radio personalities will broadcast live and local musicians will perform. Special guest PAWS, the Detroit Tigers' mascot, will be onsite 1-3 p.m. for photo opportunities.
Plus, every child attending will be entered to win one of three BMX bikes. Other prizes include Tigers tickets.
