Henry Ford Health System invites women in metro Detroit to preview a new movie, ”Hot Flash Havoc,” at 6 p.m. May 17 at the .
The movie takes a humorous, but informative, approach to the symptoms of menopause, and offers choices to help improve quality of life. It features personal stories told by women struggling with health issues, and interviews with noted medical experts. Subjects include: understanding hormones, loss of libido, restful sleep, bone and heart health, memory and energy issues, and much more.
Cyndy Canty, of Magic 105.1, will be the emcee for the evening.

In addition to screening the movie, a panel of experts on menopause from Henry Ford Women’s Health Services: Kenneth Ginsburg, M.D., and Sach Kaveeshvar, M.D., as well as Suzanne Mahoney, R.N. and Deborah McBain, C.N.M., will be available to answer participants’ questions.
Popcorn, hors d’oeuvres and dessert will be served.
