Fuel Report: Gas Prices Fall to $3.43 a Gallon in Birmingham

It's Monday morning, and if you're looking to fill up the tank, gas prices are looking friendlier by the day.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.48 this morning, down from $3.74 a week ago.

Some of the lowest gas prices in and around southeastern Michigan can be found in Detroit, at $3.25 a gallon, and at the Costco in Madision Heights, where gas is $3,28 a gallon this morning. In and around Birmingham Monday morning, the cheapest price is $3.43, found at the Speedway and Citgo on Woodward Avenue.
