Oakland County Plans Special Outdoor Warning Test
The purpose of this test is to raise the awareness level of citizens.
BIRMINGHAM, MI — In an effort to promote severe weather safety preparedness, Oakland County will conduct a special test of the Outdoor Warning System on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. The purpose of this test is to raise the awareness level of citizens and offer schools and businesses an opportunity to test their internal disaster plans during normal business hours.
Here’s a list of remaining Outdoor Warning System dates and times for this year:
- May 6, 2017 at 1p.m.
- June 3, 2017 at 1p.m.
- July 1, 2017 at 1p.m.
- August 5, 2017 at 1p.m.
- September 2, 2017 at 1 p.m.
- October 7, 2017 at 1p.m.
- November 4, 2017 at 1p.m.
