On Monday July 16, 2012 at 7 p.m. there will be an Appeal hearing regarding the Brighton Township Board of Trustees charging capital charges and sanctions on Vacant Parcels without any ordinance authority since 2009.
If you own a Vacant Parcel in the SAD district and have been paying capital charges since 2009 this will be your opportunity to voice your concern and let the Brighton Township Board of Trustees know that without the ordinance they have no statutory authority to charge capital charges and sanctions. I have brought this to the attention of the BTBT and am now in the appeal stage under Sec. 21-107-USER CHARGE SYSTEM. (d) of the Sewer Ordinance. Please attend and make your voice heard.
