Brighton Area Schools Hire 11 New Teachers

Brighton Area School Board members approved the hiring of 11 new teachers for the 2012-2013 school year during its meeting Monday night.

Superintendent Greg Gray said he believes this will be the last of the new hires for the school year.

The new teachers will replace the this past June.

The new teachers are:

• Kerry Fleet, Art Teacher  at
• Kara Fribley, Media Teacher at
• Emily Hratchian, Media Teacher at Spencer Elementary 
• Martin Ciurlik, Spanish Teacher at and
• Janelle Eathorne, Math Teacher at
• Bridget McKiddy, Spanish Teacher at Brighton High School
• Joshua Maddock, Science Teacher at Brighton High School
• Jennifer Finnerty, English Teacher at Brighton High School
• Jaime Smith, Special Ed Teacher at Scranton Middle School
• Phillip Johnson, Choir Director at Brighton High School
• Christopher Woodruff, Special Ed Teacher at Brighton High School
