Brighton Community Says 'Thanks' to Superintendent

With a "Hooray for Dr. Gray" sign displayed in front of the Brighton Administration building, the community says "thanks for staying."

Support and thanks for Brighton Area School's Superintendent Greg Gray's decision to remain in Brighton was represented with signs and balloons on Friday.

The news came on Monday, a week after Gray announced he was a finalist for the superintendent position for the Portage Public School District.

On Friday, community members had tied balloons to a light pole outside the Brighton Schools administration building and a large sign reading "Hooray for Dr. Gray, Thanks for Staying" stood outside the parking lot entrance.
