Brighton Groups Organize Efforts to Help Tornado Victims
Several local groups have local fundraising efforts planned to help support victims of the Oklahoma tornado.

After news traveled of a devastating tornado that ripped through a suburb of Oklahoma City on Monday killing at least 24 people - including several children - people across the nation are looking for ways to send help and support to the victims.
In Brighton, local groups are already organizing efforts to send to the town of Moore, Okla., including a car wash and Zumba fundraiser.
- A Zumba class tonight at 2/42 Community Church 6 p.m.Â
- Community Bible Church will be hosting a free car wash this Saturday with donations being accepted for the families of Oklahoma.
As search-and-rescue crews continue to dig through the rubble, many people are wondering what they can do to help those affected by the disaster.

John Mozena, spokesperson for the American Red Cross of Southeastern Michigan, said the organization should know more later today about exactly how much help is needed.
