Brighton Man Pleads Guilty of Failing to Report Crash

A 22-year-old man struck the brick wall of the Cook & Hayden Vision Care Center then fled the scene in March.

Anthony Gordon Iaquinto, 22, pleaded guilty last week to misdemeanor charges for failing to report an accident when he struck the side of an office building in the City of Brighton in March, Livingston Daily reports.

The collision caused damage to the building's exterior and a surprising amount to the interior as well with cabinetry and other items thrown to the floor from the force of impact.

Iaquinto also pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and open intoxicants in a vehicle resulting from a traffic stop in a separate incident, according to Livinston Daily.

Sentencing is set for June 6.
