Brighton Mom, Daughter Injured When Car Crashes Into Building
The incident happened Sunday in Lyon Township, according to a police report.

A Brighton mom and her daughter were injured Sunday afternoon when their car crashed into the wall of a Lyon Township business.
The 16-year-old daughter told deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, who responded to the scene, that her mom suffered a medical emergency and passed out while driving, causing the car to leave the roadway and crash into the building in the 52000 block of Grand River at 2:47 p.m.Â
The driver, a 49-year-old Brighton woman, was air-lifted to the University of Michigan Hospital in serious condition. The daughter, 16, was transported to Mott's Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor.Â

The incident remains under investigation, according to a statement from the sheriff's office.
