Employment

I was appointed Deputy Clerk of Brighton Township in January 2003. I retired as deputy, April 2012.

What groups/organizations are you involved with in the community?

I am involved in the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton and the Brighton Historical Society.

Why are you running for office and what relevant qualities/skills would you bring to the position?

To be part of the decision making that impacts the township and its residents.  With my position as deputy clerk for the past nine years, I am throughly aquainted with the issues confronting the board.

What are the top three priority issues the Township Board should address and what actions would you, as an elected official, take to address them?

Increase in the number of sewer tap-ins, residential and commercial, meeting the township's criteria for maintenance of our roads and the transmission of board meetings on CCTV 15.  Addressing these issues, I will use the resources available and agressively work towards a solution(s).
