The cheer team has also traveled to Grandville High School on Jan. 5 to compete against some of the top Division One teams in the state. The team had a goal to place in the top 6 at the event. They fell just short coming in 7th by four points. This loss caused a renewed sense of determination and stronger work ethic amongst the girls. They will get another chance to best the East Kentwood Falcons on Jan. 19 when Brighton High School hosts the Brighton's Best Invitational.
