Brighton Farmers Market

Opening day for the highly awaited Brighton Farmers’ Market is Saturday, May 5, 2012. Each year the Brighton Farmers’ Market attracts thousands of people to downtown Brighton to purchase some of the freshest fruits and vegetables, the tastiest bread, organic honey, garden decorations, the choicest flowers and plants, as well as a huge selection of crafts and jewelry. The Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from May 5, 2012 through Oct. 27, rain or shine.

Flower Day takes place this year on Saturday, May 19, 2012, and Harvest Fest takes place on Saturday, September 29, 2012. On both of these days, Main Street is closed and filled with vendors selling the best of the best in seasonal products, whether colorful flowers in May or pumpkins and gourds in September. There are always children’s activities throughout the day at both of these festivals.

The Farmer's Market is held in the Municipal Parking Lot, 200 First St., near Millpond Lane and First Street.
