Good Morning Brighton

1. The weather

Today will be mostly cloudy, with a 60 percent chance of snow showers after 2 p.m., and a high near 17 degrees with wind chill values as low as -11, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a 60 percent chance of snow showers before 8 p.m., and a low around 4 degrees with wind chill values as low as -8.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Tuesday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

• Costco, 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd: $3.26

• CITGO, 1050 E Grand River: $3.31

• BP, 3452 South Old US-23: $3.39

3. Wonderful Wednesday Storytime

Barnes & Noble Booksellers will host its Storytime for young listeners, geared towards Pre-K age, although all ages are welcome to attend, today at 10 a.m. Ask to sign up for Kids Club and also a Storytime punch card. 10 punches earn a free children's book from a special selection.

4. Brighton Jobseekers Free Workshop

There will be a free workshop for Brighton jobseekers at the Adult Faith Formation Center – Room B, located at 730 Rickett Rd, Brighton, MI, today from 6:30-8 p.m. Please bring 5 copies of your resume to share with others.
