Reading Specialist Cammie Dudek explained the NeoRok student stools feature a unique rounded base which allows movement for active students. With the ‘wobble’ students can release excess energy while increasing their focus.
“The purpose of these awards is to actively engage students in learning,” said Helen Beamer, committee chairperson. “The projects funded this year will help promote reading, develop thinking skills and physical dexterity, and energize art and science activities.” Members of the Clawson Enrichment Fund Committee are: Jessica Back, Helen Beamer, Mike Bosnic, Amy Carpenter, James McHale, Cyndi Peltonen, Amy Reaume and Scott Rieck.
The Fund is supported by donations from individuals and school employee associations, as well as memorial gifts. To contribute, contact the School District Business Office, 626 Phillips, Clawson, Michigan 48017.
