Get Out: Football Team Mattress Sale, Guardian Angels Auction and More

1. Yard Sale

Where/when: 1341 N. Custer Ave. in Clawson, Friday and Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. 

Why go: The yard sale will have a wide selection of old and new items, collectibles, furniture and housewares.

2. Football Team Mattress Sale

Where/when: , 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday

Why go: The Clawson High School Football Program is hosting a Mattress Fundraiser. The mattresses will be 40-60 percent off retail prices with delivery available. All sizes, types, and brands are available. There will also be sheet sets, mattress protectors and frames for sale.

3. Guardian Angels Auction

Where/when: Club Venetian 29310 John R Rd, Madison Heights, 6:30 p.m.-midnight Saturday.

Why go: will host their 10th Annual "Children in Bloom" silent and live auction to benefit their students. There will be a family style dinner, open bar and raffle.

Pricing: $50 single, $90 couple, $400 table of ten

4. Michigan Glass Month Exhibition

Where/when: , 119 S. Main St., Royal Oak, 6 p.m. Friday. 

Why go: Ariana Gallery will be displaying a variety of glass artists works which will be on display through June 1. The opening reception will feature live jazz and refreshments

5. Fish Fry

Where/when: from 4:30-7 p.m. Friday

Why go: All-you-can-eat baked and fried fish, crab cakes, macaroni and cheese, baked or fried potatoes, rolls, vegetables, dessert and a beverage.

Price: $8 adults, $7.50 seniors, $4.50 children
